What's a typical day as an Avionics Installer I. You'll be: Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings. Support completion of assigned tasks within established timeframes. Assist with maintaining required logs and records. Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5S program, and all safety regulations. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: High School Diploma or GED required. General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Must know how to use a multimeter. Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred. Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred, or successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program (sponsored by Gulfstream or equivalent) in the area of expertise. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Basic computer skills and general software knowledge.
