Production Scheduler

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Production Scheduler
to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that ensure efficient plant operations and on-time project delivery. You will work closely with production, engineering, delivery, and installation teams to align schedules with customer deadlines while driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and uphold quality standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily plant operations, including production scheduling, labor allocation, and workflow optimization. Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules aligned with project goals and customer deadlines. Support production teams, including assemblers, CNC operators, finishers, and custom fabricators, to ensure on-time performance. Partner with the Delivery and Installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time in the field. Monitor and adjust schedules proactively to address material shortages, equipment downtime, or labor constraints. Collaborate with engineering teams to align production with design requirements and delivery timelines. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with quality control standards and lean manufacturing practices. Communicate priorities, schedule changes, and progress updates clearly across teams. Qualifications High School diploma or GED Experience with scheduling in the construction or similar industry is required. Proven expertise in production scheduling, workflow planning, and quality control. Hands-on experience in European cabinet production is a
plus . Solid understanding of woodworking equipment, including CNC machinery, beam saws, and edge banders. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/MRP system experience preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs. Occasional reaching, stooping, standing, and walking for up to 30 minutes at a time.
