Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac and electrophysiology experience, ARRT certification, and an Illinois license. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization laboratory Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures as well as electrophysiology cases Perform special procedures including biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations Utilize Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane) and GE ultrasound equipment Work with Omnicell and Epic EMR systems Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call rotation required, including coverage every third weekend Self-scheduling is available Floating within the health system may occasionally occur as requested by management Duties include assisting with interventional and diagnostic cardiac cath lab and EP procedures, including advanced device support (e.g., IABP, IVUS, IMPELLA) Team-based environment with staff rotating call and weekend coverage Orientation modules must be completed during scheduled shifts with additional hours approved in advance if needed Medical or religious vaccination accommodation requests are considered on a case-by-case basis Scrub dress code required 75-mile travel radius rule applies; locals are accepted at a local rate All requested time off must be included at the time of application to be considered Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a cath lab or EP lab with cardiac and electrophysiology exposure Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred Current ARRT certification and valid Illinois licensure required BLS through AHA required; ACLS through AHA must be obtained within 6 months of hire Experience using Omnicell and Epic EMR preferred License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3016772.
