The Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Program is seeking a Student Administrative Assistant to support the administrative functions of the DrPH Program. The Assistant will report to the Program Manager of the DrPH Program and the Associate Dean for Applied Public Health.
The DrPH Program is a public health leadership training program that delivers a practice-based curriculum to equip public health leaders with skills necessary to shape public health policy and practice and lead organizational change in the U.S. and worldwide. The DrPH Program provides support to residential and online DrPH students, faculty and alumni.
Position Specific Summary
The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the DrPH program with limited oversight while completing assignments, projects, and duties.
Tasks may also include: update and improve organization systems, support the admissions process, lead DrPH students through the online portal for their practice experience, help design new initiatives, manage communication vehicles, and serve as a key point of contact for student and other stakeholder inquiries.
Standard Position Description
The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the office or department with limited oversight while completing assignments, projects, and duties. Tasks may also include: lead and organize administrative functions for mid to large scale programs, projects, or events, serve as a key point of contact for departmental inquiries, assist in the management of department or program communications and data entry/reporting, and/or provide oversight and support for student staff and other administrative tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
