The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support across all units within Enrollment Management (EM), ensuring smooth office operations through calendar, email, and communication management, as well as organizing supplies and maintaining an orderly workspace. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, handling data entry and record keeping, and supporting Finance, HR, Summer Term, and Inventory functions by collecting, organizing, and inputting data in compliance with university policies. The Administrative Assistant 2 plays a key role in managing employee leave, student worker timesheets, faculty pay processes, and property inventory records. Additionally, AA2 contributes to the development and maintenance of EM policies and procedures by creating and formatting documents, databases, and web content. As the first point of contact for the Enrollment Management Business Team (EMBT), AA2 provides excellent customer service to students, staff, and external partners, resolving issues with professionalism and referring individuals appropriately. AA2 also assists with special projects, divisional events, and various other tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the EM division. Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of clerical and administrative support experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and files; preparing a variety of materials using a personal computer or word processor; assisting customers in completing forms and applications; and/or performing secretarial duties in support of professional staff; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
