Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and document current business workflows and processes, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Support the transition from AS400 systems to modern Windows Server environments, maintaining process continuity.
• Analyze functionality and usage of AS400/green screen applications, providing detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align business needs with system capabilities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop comprehensive functional documentation.
• Ensure consistency in legacy green screen interfaces while facilitating modernization efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend actionable solutions.
• Provide expertise during system migrations and upgrades to minimize disruptions.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, preferably in chemical manufacturing or similar industries.
• Proficiency in documenting workflows and analyzing business processes.
• Hands-on experience with AS400/green screen systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
• Experience with system migrations, upgrades, or modernization projects.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and business requirements documentation.
• Understanding of chemical processing or manufacturing workflows is highly desirable.
