Location and Compensation
Blue Springs, MO. Salary: $20.00–$21.00 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact in the office and on the phone for customers; demonstrate poise, professionalism, and appropriate business etiquette.
- Receive and sort mail; manage mailroom activities.
- Coordinate and schedule office repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors.
- Answer and transfer calls professionally.
- Order, stock, and maintain office and break room supplies.
- Create new hires and guest badges for building entry.
- Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned by Contract & Licensing Lead or management.
Required Competencies
- 1+ years of Administrative, Customer Service, or Receptionist experience.
- Customer Service: responsive to needs; handles service requests promptly.
- Interpersonal Skills: friendly, professional, maintains confidentiality.
- Oral Communication: clear listening and response.
- Organizational Skills: follow policies, complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Adaptability: capable of handling change and tight deadlines.
- Attendance/Punctuality: reliable and present; coverage during absences.
- Language Skills: able to read and write simple instructions and communications; effective in person, phone, and written communication.
- Reasoning: ability to apply common sense to instructions.
- Computer Skills: basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: ability to sit, reach, talk, and hear; occasional lift up to 25 pounds; close vision required.
