The key responsibilities of the Sales Representative - IX Americas West Coast are to develop and grow existing accounts with substantial and potentially multi-national footprints. Exploring and developing new accounts while assisting end users and consultants in the territory to introduce our channel and distribution partners is also part of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage territory(s) to develop additional opportunities, customer relationships, demo products, and generate sales.
- Manage processes for creating quotes, managing the sales cycle in CRM, developing and negotiating proposals and commercial agreements. Track business opportunities and sales funnel performance, and provide regular forecasting, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to Sales Management, Segment Marketing, and Product Management.
- Define and onboard new resellers for Barco in the market. Act as SPOC for these new partners, co-develop a business plan including performance targets and investment plans, and review performance during QBRs.
- Onboard and activate existing Barco resellers as per the target plan and collaborate with existing sales colleagues.
- Support Channel Partners and Distributors with technical and sales expertise on the Barco range, aiding product specifications.
- Manage the process of lead distribution to Channel Partners.
- Market the company to ensure positive exposure and enhance brand image in the region.
- Keep all sales opportunities up-to-date in the company's CRM system.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proven sales affinity in related industry/technologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to gain credibility with client managers.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational and national boundaries.
- Eager to hunt new end customers and contacts at various levels of targeted accounts.
- High-level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship-building abilities.
