Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Medical Receptionist located in Rochester, NY. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointment schedules, answering phone calls, and handling receptionist duties. They will also be expected to use their knowledge of medical terminology and operate efficiently within a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• Skills in Appointment Scheduling and managing a calendar of patient appointments
• Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and handling incoming and outgoing calls professionally
• Experience with general Receptionist Duties and front desk management
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with working in a Medical Office environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
