Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties at a professional level in benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruiting/employment, safety, and employment law compliance.

Example Activities
- Interprets and explains HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of EEO and affirmative action guidelines and laws (e.g., ADA).
- Addresses employee relations issues, such as harassment or other concerns.
- Guides employees through leave of absence processes.
- Conducts exit interviews.
- Manages workers’ compensation claims.
- Reviews applications and job orders to match applicants with requirements.
Transportation
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and carry personal auto liability insurance at the level of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.
- Occasional regional travel with a personal vehicle.
Required Certifications
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of related experience required; at least 2 years as a Human Resources Generalist preferred.
Please note that LFSRM is currently seeking one Human Resources Generalist OR one Senior Human Resources Generalist.
