Overview
The organization is a well-established construction company that is 100% employee-owned. This role reports to the Human Resources Director and will manage HR files and records, serve as a primary point of contact for employees and candidates with HR questions, and act as a liaison between vendors and the company. You will also support the coordinator of company-wide events, talent acquisition, and the marketing team. The ideal candidate will enjoy providing HR support, including administrative tasks and services to support effective HR operations. Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
- Provides clerical support and other duties as assigned.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and related travel arrangements.
- Assists with the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, coordination, and scheduling with hiring managers and HR team.
- Provides support for safety management and marketing teams during recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Travel to other shop locations for new hire orientation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ year of human resources experience highly desired.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, not required.
- Attention to detail, highly organized, and responsive.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Compensation and Benefits
$60,000-$65,000 annually with benefits including healthcare insurance, 401k, paid holidays, vacation, and more!
