Job Title: HR Generalist

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months with potential to convert to full-time)
Pay: $25 – $30 / hour (depending on experience) | $55,000–$70,000 salary range upon conversion
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch, 40 hours/week)
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Generalist to join a small, supportive HR team. This role will assist in day-to-day HR operations including full-cycle onboarding, employee support, performance tracking, benefits coordination, and records management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, job postings, and HRIS entry
- Support employees as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR documentation
- Track performance reviews and evaluation schedules
- Support benefits enrollment, open enrollment coordination, and related employee communications
- Process personnel action forms, employment changes, and maintain data in HRIS (iSolved experience is a plus)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HR generalist or HR admin experience (or 2–3 years with relevant degree)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel required)
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms; iSolved is a bonus
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Professional, approachable, and capable of handling sensitive information discreetly

- Role reports to a supportive and team-oriented HR Director
- Team of 4: Director of HR, HR Supervisor, Payroll Manager, and this HR Generalist
- Company size: ~256 employees (onboarding ~6 new hires/month)
