Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of scrub experience and proficiency in neurovascular and vascular IR for a busy stroke thrombectomy center. Responsibilities Work in a thrombectomy stroke center within the Interventional Radiology department Duties include neurovascular, trauma, and body IR procedures, including endografts Use of GE and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment required Cerner EMR is used and experience is required Day shift schedule of 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with hours shifting to 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM when on call On-call rotation is every 3rd or 4th weekend and 1 weekday per week, with one full week of call during the contract No floating required within the unit No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Operate as part of a busy department with varying numbers of physicians present each week Must complete up to 8 hours of online modules before starting Light blue scrubs are provided If contract includes Thanksgiving, coverage may be required Maximum of 10 days RTO is allowed, and holiday RTO requires willingness to work one of three holidays Return staff must have been absent from the facility for at least 3 years before consideration Requirements Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in Interventional Radiology, including neurovascular procedures Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms required Must be able to scrub cases and work with wires Current state license required if applicable; pending state license accepted but must be active prior to start Certification(s) must be obtained prior to start; pending certifications considered Cerner EMR experience required First-time travelers are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-596094.
