Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an IR Tech/Special Procedures Technologist with at least 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience for a weekday schedule with call requirements. Responsibilities Role is based in an interventional radiology department with 5 procedure rooms Performs vascular, neurovascular, biopsy, drain, and line placement procedures Utilizes EPIC for charting and operates fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment Schedule is Monday through Friday with varied start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, ending between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Includes 8-9 call shifts per 6 weeks, covering weekday, weekend, and holiday call No floating to other units or departments Works independently with support from an RN Responsibilities include sterile preparation, assisting MDs, passing supplies, filming cases, and patient transport Surgical scrubs are provided 3-5 days of orientation with a registered technologist and 1 day dedicated to EPIC training Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Must be able to provide care appropriate to varied patient ages Requirements Current BLS and ARRT certification required Minimum 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience preferred Demonstrated skills in assisting with arteriograms and other specialized radiology procedures Experience with EPIC charting and advanced imaging equipment License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-602494.
