TECH - MRI PART TIME VARIED Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging this position performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement and initiative of a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Qualifications
Requirements High School Graduate or equivalent. Diploma from certified school of Radiology. Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Two (2) years of experience as an MRI tech and acute care experience preferred. BS or MS in healthcare preferred. Skills
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
