FurstStaffing is hiring an

Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator

at a leading manufacturer in Freeport. The

Accounts Payable and Payroll Administrator

will assist the Divisional Controller in planning, organizing, and directing the Accounts Payable and Payroll processes of the division. Responsibilities include receiving invoices and routing for approval, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours and deductions, processing payments to vendors and employees, as well as documenting and evaluating current procedures. Areas of focus include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and that federal, state, and local laws are complied with. This is a Furst-to-Hire opportunity.

Hours:

start time between 7am and 8am, end time between 3pm and 4pm (TBD)

Pay:

$21-$26/hour

Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:

Receive vendor invoices into the system and match invoices to support documentation, check requests and/or purchase order receipts Route invoices for proper approval and address receipts or pricing discrepancies Maintain vendor information, including payment terms and addresses Communicate with vendors regarding invoice questions Coordinate with corporate Treasury for payment processing Maintain files of paid documents Process payroll records for all new employees including W-4 information Ensure time records are accurate and that vacation and paid time off use are recorded and paid properly Work with Human Resources to ensure accurate pay rates, benefit deductions and garnishments, and child support are withheld Conduct weekly A/P and Payroll processes, including delivery on a timely basis Assist with production of W-2, 1099, and 1042 tax forms Assist in providing information for all internal and external audits Maintain strong working knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements Administer quarterly payroll tax filings and payments to government entities Perform Pension calculation and reporting of monthly hours and contributions by participant Accounts Payable/Payroll Administrator Requirements:

College degree preferred in accounting or business-related field and/or equivalent combination of experience, education and training 3 to 5 years of Accounts Payable and Payroll experience Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures and automated equipment Ability to perform computations at reasonable speed and accuracy Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience using Accounts Payable and Payroll systems with an ERP system a plus Experience in manufacturing environment with collective bargaining agreement a plus Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations Excellent verbal and written communication skills, grammar, spelling Strong detail orientation and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as follow direction for given assignments Please apply here or contact Kim at 815-656-4490.
