Job Description

Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Surveyor-in-Training (S.I.T.) - Project Manager

Location: Allentown, Lancaster, or Philadelphia, PA areas

An established and growing firm is seeking an energetic and goal-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Surveyor-in-Training (S.I.T.) with 5-10 years of experience to join our team as a Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage project budgets, proposals, and technical reports.
Supervise boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys.
Conduct research and calculations to support survey projects.
Provide direction and guidance to field crews and office staff, including on-site project oversight as needed.
Prepare final survey maps and legal land boundary descriptions in accordance with standard practices.
Ensure projects are completed from initial fieldwork through final deliverables.
Ability to certify completed survey work is a plus.

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or S.I.T. actively pursuing licensure.
5-10 years of relevant experience in Transportation, Land Development, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Construction, or Utility Surveys.
Proficient in GPS, robotic survey equipment, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of surveying principles and practices.
Skilled in using survey-related software and field equipment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in both office and field environments as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
