Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental stewardship, is seeking a *Project Manager* based in *Portland, Oregon*. This role supports *Real Property Field Services*, which provides expertise in land acquisition, rights-of-way management, and landowner relations, while coordinating schedules for major infrastructure projects to ensure construction and outage timelines stay on track. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and risk management while collaborating with internal teams, federal and state agencies, corporations, and private landowners. The ideal candidate is proactive, diplomatic, and skilled at facilitating collaboration across diverse stakeholders to deliver projects that support the utility’s critical infrastructure and mission.

*Pay Rate: *$56.00 - $59.25/hr. DOE. *Location: *Portland, OR. (HYBRID)
*Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:*
* Lead projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with leadership, stakeholders, and external partners while applying PMI-based methodology and best practices. * Define scope, requirements, resources, schedules, and deliverables; facilitate kick-offs, align sponsors and stakeholders, and coordinate project teams. * Manage budgets, timelines, risks, and quality metrics; monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide status reports and recommendations to leadership. * Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. * Oversee Real Property Services for capital projects, including land rights, permitting, surveys, mapping, appraisals, acquisitions, and related deliverables. * Track and manage milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities across transmission and infrastructure projects. * Identify and mitigate risks through registries, monitoring, and proactive response planning. * Support decision-making by providing technical input, facilitating meetings, drafting agendas, and presenting options. * Drive process improvements through documentation, efficiency recommendations, and implementation support. * Maintain consistent communication across sponsors, project teams, and stakeholders; manage meeting logistics and documentation. * Deliver final project reports and lessons learned; facilitate post-mortems and ensure smooth project transitions.
*Requirements for Project Manager:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or related field preferred * 5–10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in project management (process development, planning, and execution) * Strong knowledge of Real Property Services, geospatial, survey and mapping, field services, and related support functions * Proven ability to lead process reengineering, business transformation, and change management initiatives * Proficient in Microsoft Project
