This is a role for a self-starter who takes initiative, owns projects end-to-end, and constantly looks for ways to make systems smarter, faster, and more reliable. Youll bring broad expertise across servers, networking, cloud, automation, and security, while balancing everyday support with long-term improvements. Responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, security, and support of enterprise systems including Windows Server environments, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Entra /O365, and backup/disaster recovery solutions. Supports hybrid and cloud-based workloads (including AWS) while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of mission-critical systems. Contributes to automation initiatives, documentation, and implementation of IT best practices to maintain a modern, resilient infrastructure. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Position requires on-call availability depending on business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages Microsoft Entra including Conditional Access, application integration, and O365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint). Administers Veeam backup and recovery, including on-prem and cloud workloads; perform regular recovery testing. Supports basic AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM). Automates provisioning and administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools. Monitors system health and capacity; provide performance tuning and proactive improvements. Collaborates with vendors, hosting partners, and internal stakeholders to support evolving IT needs. Plans, performs, and documents server and system revisions (patches, firmware, application updates). Maintains documentation for IT processes, procedures, configurations, incident response, and audit compliance. Assists in mentoring junior IT staff and providing advanced troubleshooting support. Stays current with emerging technologies (cloud, virtualization, cybersecurity) and recommend adoption where appropriate. Recommends and implements new technologies. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities

None Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, and; 6 years of experience supporting in enterprise system administration, or; equivalent combination of related education and experience. Certificates and Licenses

Must have a valid drivers license and meet company insurability requirements. Other Qualifications

Cisco DUO or similar MFA system management experience. Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Microsoft Entra, and O365 administration. Experience with Veeam backup/replication in hybrid environments. Experience or exposure to AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) and hybrid identity. Familiarity with endpoint management systems. Other Skills & Abilities

Highly motivated self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize projects in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service and teamwork orientation. Must be able to drive to various locations across Nebraska. Work Environment

Hybrid work environment; 3 days in office, 2 remote. Primarily office-based with occasional visits to remote company sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
