About the Role
We are a boutique probate and estate planning firm located in downtown Tampa seeking a full-time Receptionist / Legal Assistant. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction and is eager to support legal operations in a professional, detail-oriented environment.
Whether you're just starting out or have 1–2 years of experience in reception, legal support, or customer service, we welcome applicants who are organized, self-motivated, personable, and ready to grow.
Responsibilities
• Greet clients and manage incoming calls
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
• Draft and format legal correspondence and documents
• Organize and maintain client files (physical and digital)
• Assist with probate filings and estate planning forms
• Coordinate with courts, financial institutions, and other professionals
• Support attorneys with administrative and procedural tasks
Qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with MyCase legal software or similar program preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Professional demeanor and discretion
• Prior experience in a legal office, reception, or customer service role preferred but not required
Compensation
$18.00 to $22.00/hour based upon experience.
We will provide parking at our cost.
401(k), including employer contributions after one year
Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off after probationary period.
