Customer Care Representative Highlights
The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour. Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm local time (minimum of 6 weeks). Post-Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, hours agreed upon with the business (split shifts may be available). Onsite position. This position is a contract role with potential for conversion to full-time.
Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls from members regarding pharmacy benefit plans, prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. Assist members in understanding their coverage and available options with empathy and professionalism. Multi-task across multiple computer systems and dual screens while maintaining strong verbal communication. Provide patient-centered solutions to simplify healthcare experiences and ensure quality service. Participate in comprehensive training (classroom, self-paced modules, and live interaction) to ensure success in role. Adhere to HIPAA regulations, compliance standards, and company policies.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ year of customer-facing experience (call center, retail, hospitality, military, or similar). Proficiency in Windows-based applications and ability to toggle between multiple systems/screens. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism during member interactions. Preferred: 6+ months of healthcare experience, Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
