Bookkeeper/Secretary
The Bookkeeper/Secretary will be responsible for handling the company's day-to-day financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and recordkeeping. In addition, this role will provide general administrative support to help ensure the smooth operation of the office. Key responsibilities include managing daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and financial record maintenance, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, running payroll and ensuring timely and accurate payments, utilizing QuickBooks for invoicing, reporting, and financial tracking, preparing and sending invoices and maintaining up-to-date account records, assisting with vendor and client communication, performing general administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, and scheduling, and supporting compliance-related documentation (DOT-related knowledge is a plus). Qualifications include at least 2 years of QuickBooks experience, minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role, familiarity with AP, AR, and payroll processes, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality, and experience in the trucking or transportation industry is a plus. On-site position in Riverdale, CA. Flexible schedule options: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM, MondayFriday, 7:00 AM4:00 PM, and option for a 4-day work week (8 hours/day). Pay rate: $25.00
