Position Summary: The 52-Week Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient maintenance of an office. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while supporting office operations through record keeping, document preparation, and inventory management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Serve as receptionist for the office. • Answer incoming calls, transfer as necessary, and take messages. • Photocopy documents as needed. • Maintain up-to-date database inventories for equipment and materials. • Distribute materials to buildings or individuals upon request. • Prepare memos, letters, and reports as needed. • Maintain filing systems for documents and records. • Support the organization of office materials and supplies. • Assist with communication between staff, families, and community members. • Provide clerical support for special projects or initiatives. • Perform other related duties as assigned or delegated.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to effectively manage phone calls and visitor inquiries. • Proficiency in computer use and basic office software. • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.• List • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum of a High School Diploma. • Demonstrated experience with computers and office software. • Bilingual preferred. • Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred. • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Lawrence Public Schools.

Pay Range • $42,411.20 - $63,897.60
