We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining smooth daily operations by managing front desk activities and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and clients in a detail-oriented and welcoming manner, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, efficiently handling inbound calls and transferring them as needed.
• Operate a switchboard with 1 to 10 phone lines, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, providing accurate information or directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, reflecting a detail-oriented image.
• Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as required to support office operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely communication and smooth workflows.
• Handle incoming mail and deliveries, distributing them to the correct recipients.
• Provide general support to the office staff with various clerical duties.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with office equipment and basic administrative tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
