A supportive and collaborative school district in
Lake Elsinore, CA
is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join their special education team for the full
20252026 school year . This position is
in-person only
and based at the
Clay VBD
site. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, provided all services are delivered onsite. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SLPs or well-prepared Clinical Fellows (with CTC) who are passionate about helping students succeed across various grade levels. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs in K12 settings
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services
Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Document student progress and maintain thorough, compliant records
Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other team members
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning and support
Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners
Caseload Information:
Caseloads vary (K12th grade options); let us know if you have a preference
Mild to moderate needs are most common
Settings may include general education and special education classrooms
Caseload assignments will be made based on experience, fit, and student needs
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Active California Teaching Credential (CTC)
Required Valid California SLP license (CFs welcome with active CTC) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred School-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Must be able to provide services
