35 hours per week (Full-Time) Position Overview:
Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) is seeking
57 full-time, onsite SpeechLanguage Pathologists
(SLPs) to provide direct services for the 20252026 school year. These roles serve students across
elementary, middle, and high school levels , with manageable caseloads and strong team support. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services
Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement IEP goals
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
Serve 12 school sites within the district
Caseload Details:
Maximum caseload:
50 students
School level preference (elementary, middle, or high) can be discussed
Assigned to 12 schools for consistency and collaboration
Requirements:
Valid
California SLP license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
School-based experience is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Must be able to work
onsite only
(no teletherapy accepted)
