Job Overview
Galt Joint Union School District is seeking
two experienced SpeechLanguage Pathologists (SLPs)
to provide speech and language services to a diverse K12 population for the 20252026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for school-based therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Work Location
Onsite preferred
Hybrid option available : Therapy must be conducted onsite; paperwork may be completed from home
Must be flexible and reliable with on-campus presence
Requirements
Active
California SLP license Previous school-based experience preferred
Willingness to supervise an SLPA
Strong knowledge of IEP procedures, progress monitoring, and best practices in school speech therapy
Comfortable with a varied K12 caseload
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech-language therapy to K12 students
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations
Develop and update IEP goals and objectives
Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports
Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
Supervise SLPA (if assigned)
