This part-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to deliver direct services and evaluations within a supportive educational setting. Location: Delmar, DE (Onsite position; virtual candidates considered only as a last resort) Position Details: Part-time commitment (2530 hours per week) School year contract: September 2, 2024 June 30, 2025 Serving middle and high school students (grades 512) Independent completion of evaluations required (COTAs not eligible) Key Responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized intervention plans Support students with fine motor and gross motor skill development Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the school environment Track and document student progress and adapt therapy approaches as needed Facilitate skill-building activities that promote functional independence and academic success Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Active Delaware OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Strong knowledge of fine motor and gross motor skill interventions Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively Commitment to onsite service within the school setting This position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact student outcomes while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
