A part-time, school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 20242025 school year at a K-12 school in Seaford, DE. This on-site role offers the chance to support middle and high school students (grades 512) with a focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, enabling meaningful progress in their educational journey.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. Position Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations independently Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Provide direct OT services focused on fine motor and gross motor skills for students in grades 5 through 12 Document and track student progress in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational strategies Qualifications: Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Active Delaware OT license or eligibility to obtain one Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Ability to work onsite with a student caseload in a school environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Position Details: Part-time schedule (2530 hours per week) Contract position for the 20242025 academic year (September 2, 2024 through June 30, 2025) Location: Onsite in Seaford, Delaware (remote work considered only as a last resort) COTA candidates will not be considered; licensed Occupational Therapists only This role provides a meaningful opportunity to positively impact students academic and personal growth within a supportive school setting while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
