Position Summary
Elma School District is seeking a
dedicated, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to provide direct and consultative services to students in
elementary, middle, and high school settings . This is a school-based, onsite role serving a diverse caseload of students in
grades 312 (ages 822) . Contract Details
School Year:
August 27, 2025 June 11, 2026
Schedule:
35 hours per week (Full-Time)
Work Days:
MondayFriday, aligned with district calendar
Sites:
Multiple schools (elementary, middle, and high school)
Caseload Size:
6070 students
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
Provide therapy services to students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, AAC, and social communication needs
Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and progress notes
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Washington State SLP License or ESA Certificate
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (CFs may be considered)
Experience working with students ages 822 in school settings is a plus
Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple school sites
Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
