POSITION SUMMARY: The receptionist is responsible for answering the phones and serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of calls, messages, and visitor arrival.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the receptionist desk.

Greetings and welcome vendors, guests, and staff as soon as they arrive at the office

Direct visitors to the proper person and office

Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable

Provide basic and correct information in-person and via phone

Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries

Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access

Perform duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Performs other duties as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES :

Ability to multitask

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be personable, friendly, and professional

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull at least 20lbs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

One year experience as a receptionist Or

One year's experience in an administrative position

Computer savvy
