Our client is an organization in the Manitowoc County area looking for an Accountant/Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and motivated. The salary for this position is $50k - $70k.

The Accountant/Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Record intercompany transactions and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Help develop budgets, financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
• Process biweekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
• Help implement and uphold internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assists with other duties and projects as assigned.

The Accountant/Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (examples include pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
