City Wide Facility Solutions is hiring: Senior Accountant in Morrisville

Overview

City Wide Facility Solutions - North Carolina is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for leading a team of 2, and working closely with the Controller. You will serve 4 City Wide Facility Solutions locations, of more than 100 markets covered across the United States and Canada.

Base pay

$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Backup to both Accounts Receivable and Payroll
• Accounts Payable
• Contract management, setup and monthly billing
• Independent contractor management, setup, and monthly payments
• Ensure accuracy of financial records - reconciling all balance sheet accounts monthly
• Create reports and financial statements, explain variances to management
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements (eg sales tax)
• Provide support to management as requested

What Is Required

• Minimum 2 years in an accounting role, with accounts payable focus
• Strong understanding and application of basic accounting rules
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• Able to supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Able to learn quickly and work independently
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and follow up/follow through
• Driven to achieve department and company goals
• Solve problems and learn how to prevent them
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Reliable transportation
