Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales growth for Buckeye Fire Equipment. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the manufacturing or fire safety industry, to build and lead comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a results-driven marketing strategy to promote Buckeye Fire Equipment’s products and services, targeting key markets including commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, advertising, trade shows, and public relations.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning to inform marketing strategies.
  • Manage the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, product catalogs, website content, and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation programs and support sales efforts with targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and execute trade show participation, industry events, and product demonstrations to enhance brand visibility.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and optimize marketing strategies for maximum impact.
  • Lead and mentor a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, distributors, and media outlets to amplify brand reach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in B2B manufacturing, industrial products, or fire safety industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experience managing trade shows, industry events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation software).
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving measurable results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
