Job Summary

The HR Generalist serves as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Provides internal support and partnership to business leaders and managers. Ensures/fosters positive employee experience in all HR activities and initiatives.

This role provides comprehensive support across various HR functions. Duties include handling onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration, ensuring smooth daily operations and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the backend of the recruiting process and oversee the onboarding process for new hires as well as assist with the offboarding process to ensure best-in-class experiences.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on various HR matters.
  • Support benefits enrollment process, compensation process, performance management process, learning & development process and employee engagement.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts including investigations, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll for the Global Service Center, including quarterly tax filings.
  • Manage employee records, benefit administration and HRIS systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Assist in developing and executing global Talent & Culture procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Participate in development of Talent & Culture objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Administer US & International benefits, wellness and employee performance programs.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the global Talent & Culture department and organization, and to improve the employee experience.
  • Maintain and update Talent & Culture systems and perform audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook and organizational charts.
  • Provide metrics and reports as needed for ongoing company requirements.
  • Work proactively with colleagues to ensure an integrated approach to Talent & Culture service delivery, backfilling and assisting as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • 4+ years of HR experience.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Additional HR training or experience is a plus (compensation & benefits, HR Analytics, staffing, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new systems as needed.
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels, requiring excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle complex situations requiring sound judgment and effective solutions.
  • Managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines is crucial.
  • Utilize various software for recruitment, payroll, LMS, and performance management.
  • Experience in HR data analytics required.
