Qualifications
- Aspen IP21 experience
- RS Linx experience (definitely not required but would come in handy)
- Experience setting up servers
- SQL DB experience
- Firewall experience (to the extent of knowing what to put in a ticket; not a security expert)
- ITIL license
- Cisco networking experience
- Security+, Network+, CSA, etc. — any relevant certifications
Responsibilities
- Desktop/Laptop Support
- App installation
- OS installation / imaging
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of TCP/IPv4 network protocols
- Microsoft/Windows experience
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs (physically able to rack and stack servers and network gear)
- Help desk or experience using a ticketing system like Service Now
- Customer service experience (even working in retail or service industry shows they know how to treat customers/users)
- Basic printer experience insofar as configuring the IP address and installing the device on PCs
- Strong communication skills with email, Teams, etc.
- Organization and documentation
