Base pay range $88,621.00/yr - $131,826.00/yr Telework Eligible Yes Major Duties Serves as technical authority and support on the Storage area Network (SAN) in the enterprise. Serves as a technical advisor on group projects in the SAN administration area over government and/or contractor resources. Supports installation, configuration, troubleshooting, information assurance adherence, and maintenance of the SAN environment. Ensures all changes to production follow IT Change Management processes. Enforces the system development life cycle and utilizes appropriate tools for project delivery. Interprets policies and implementation plans for SAN, UNIX, Windows, and database administrators. Keeps documentation up to date for SAN configurations, procedures, licensing, and designs. Responds to SAN, NAS, Backup, and Archive data-calls. Participates in installation and configuration of SAN, Backup, Archive, and NAS products. Evaluates and recommends diagnostic tools; monitors operational metrics. Conducts security validation activities including SRR scans and manual security checks. Qualification Summary To qualify, your resume must support: One year of specialized experience related to SAN, Backup, Archive, and NAS systems. At least one year of experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent. Experience includes providing authoritative advice, maintaining knowledge of hardware and software, performing diagnostic techniques, and resolving system issues. Volunteer work is credited.
