Our new Atlanta facility is a key strategic hub in our network, and we’re seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations, manage a team of associates, and ensure that service, productivity, and safety goals are consistently achieved.

Position Overview The Operations Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising warehouse operations during the 2nd shift. You’ll oversee a team of warehouse associates and work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inbound and outbound freight.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in a fast-paced, high-volume 3PL or distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates during the 2nd shift, ensuring productivity and accuracy Coordinate daily workflow, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping operations Monitor shift performance and report KPIs to the Operations Manager Support labor planning and staffing to meet operational demands, including oversight of temporary labor as needed Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies Partner with other supervisors, leads, and managers to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts Troubleshoot issues related to inventory, order fulfillment, and workflow bottlenecks Assist with training, coaching, and developing associates to improve team performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Qualifications Required: 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 1 year in a leadership or lead role Strong knowledge of warehouse workflows, including inbound, outbound, and inventory management Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume 3PL or distribution environment Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills Familiarity with WMS platforms (experience with Synapse WMS is a plus) Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and occasional overtime as needed

Preferred: Experience managing both full-time employees and temporary labor Understanding of KPI-driven performance management and reporting
