Position
PCG is hiring a Senior Consultant to lead technical oversight on a public sector state government modernization project while continuing to support building the team and portfolio of projects in our Technology Consulting Practice Area. This Senior Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for providing expert advice, assistance, and guidance to support a major ERP Migration project and ensure all project requirements are met. The Senior Consultant will lead the work with the support of the project team to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services to the ERP migration project. Direct responsibility for the system and stage gate level assessment deliverables and work products produced along with the team. These deliverables and work products will be completed in accordance with our practice area’s overall strategy, approach, and methodology. The consultant ensures all assessments and deliverables are high-quality and comprehensive, providing meaningful insights into the ERP Migration project in all dimensions. The consultant must be in SC, GA, or NC.
Requirements and Experience
Broad experience in selected industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, education, etc.), technical competencies (e.g., technical writing, cloud/SaaS services, industry-leading ERP software products), and management approaches (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are required.
Responsibilities
Proactively solve complex client problems from pursuit through execution using a consultative mindset. Anticipate issues and blockers proactively. Identify and surface patterns to peers and leadership about the root causes of problems. Assimilate research and complex data to objectively inform recommendations. Lead or participate in project delivery activities, including analysis, deliverable creation, and communicating project performance and progress. Manage project teams focused on architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and project assurance/oversight. Apply financial acumen to make business recommendations that improve project success.
Business Development
Support proposal responses for RFPs, including participating in the response writing. Understand competitors and differentiate our approach in the marketplace. Deeply understand most products and services within the practice and align them with market needs. Review RFPs, champion bid decisions on opportunities, and influence decisions.

Required Qualifications
Must be in SC, GA, or NC. Experience with either the implementation of a large-scale cloud-based ERP system or experience with technical project management of a cloud-based ERP system (preferably an SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration). Quality Assurance or IV&V experience with large HR/Financial system implementation projects. Based in one of the following locations: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia. 5+ years of relevant experience providing a combination of implementations, IV&V, project management, QA, and other oversight services for State governments, preferably in HR/Financial, Health/Human Services, Education, Finance, Systems Integration, Corrections, and related areas. Excellent writing skills and ability to present to diverse audiences. Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and interact with all levels of personnel, from technical to executive management. Self-starter with enthusiasm and political savvy; able to accomplish objectives while maintaining a professional presence. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Travel up to 25% regionally and, in some cases, across the country, approximately twice a year. Also serves as a Subject Matter Expert on S/4HANA RISE migration.
Preferred Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in the following: Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, FICO, MM, SD) and their integration. SAP Architecture: Understanding of SAP architecture frameworks, system landscapes, and data modeling. Cloud Solutions: Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP RISE Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform) and cloud migration strategies. Integration: Proficiency in SAP integration tools and techniques, including APIs, middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI), and cloud connectors. Databases: Knowledge of SAP HANA and SQL. Programming: Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, Java, or other relevant languages.
Hybrid Work and Travel
This position is hybrid with travel/onsite requirements. To be successful in a remote work role at PCG, you must: be available during set working hours have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment to work be able to focus on completing PCG duties Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings and client engagements. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation varies by location, role, skill set, and experience. The following range is provided for this role: $88,000-$140,000. PCG also offers a range of benefits, including medical and dental care, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
