We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to manage the procurement of consumables and machine parts essential for our production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, support shipping logistics, and collaborate across teams to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Source and order consumables and repair parts needed for production. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement. Assist in scheduling and coordinating trucking and freight shipments. Compare packing slips, BOLs, and Bill of Materials, and shipping documents. Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve shipping issues. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify supply needs. Track and report on purchasing and shipping metrics. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain and logistics. Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in purchasing consumables and machine parts. Ability to assist with shipping and logistics, including handling BOLs, BOMs, and packing slips. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with accounting systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and drawings to understand parts to order. Strong data entry skills and mechanical inclination. Experience in inventory control and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred. Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or production support is beneficial. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Experience with accounting and ERP systems is advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment

The position is fully in-office (Uniontown, PA), with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
