Location: 26 W 115 St Charles Rd., Carol Stream, IL 60188 Hiring Immediately - No Experience Necessary - Training Provided Starting Pay Rate: $28.00 Hiring Bonus: up to $2,000 Walk-in Interviews: Monday-Friday 9:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm. BRING A FRIEND! Company
National Express LTD (Durham School Services) Responsibilities
Provides safe and reliable transportation service by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle with a fixed or changing route. Exhibits high ethical standards and integrity; reports suspicious or inappropriate behavior to supervisor or manager. Punctuality and adherence to route times while maintaining safety. Physically assists passengers in evacuation of the vehicle in an emergency. Immediately reports any accident or incident per Company policy. Follows Company Policy around student and/or passenger management. Maintains neat and professional personal appearance. Completes all required paperwork (e.g., route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submits timely. Cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and passengers; promotes company goodwill. Safely and efficiently utilizes vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities for Paratransit Drivers may apply per location. Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old; for Tennessee, at least 25 years old per state law. Must possess or be able to obtain all valid applicable state licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles. Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening; safety-sensitive position with random screenings as per policy. Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training. Must practice defensive driving and maintain safe driving and work habits. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, district, and contract-specific Driver requirements. National Express has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct incompatible with its policies and values, including sexual exploitation and abuse, harassment, abuse of authority, and discrimination.
