Overview

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a highly motivated IT Support Technician. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Job Description:

As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our clients\' technical issues. You will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role requires both technical expertise and excellent communication skills to ensure our clients receive timely and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and hardware for clients.
  • Manage and resolve service tickets within a timely manner while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with system backups and updates.
  • Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues, including VPN and remote access.
  • Assist with setting up new devices, users, and accounts in client systems.
  • Document and maintain records of client interactions, issues, and solutions in the company\'s ticketing system.
  • Provide user training on basic software applications and systems as needed.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Assist in IT projects, such as software upgrades and network infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or in a similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications (Microsoft Office, email clients, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.) and basic networking troubleshooting.
  • Experience with remote desktop and ticketing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
