Warehouse Material Handler (Wire Cutter)

The Warehouse Material Handler will primarily work in the wire department, responsible for pulling electrical wire off reels, measuring to order specifications, and cutting the wire. Once cut, the wire will need to be prepared for shipment. This role requires physical strength to lift up to 70 lbs and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision after training. Additional tasks may include assisting in other departments, order picking, and managing shipping and receiving duties. Responsibilities: Pull electrical wire off reels and measure according to order specifications. Cut wire and prepare it for shipment. Lift and handle materials weighing up to 70 lbs. Assist in other departments as needed. Perform order picking and shipping/receiving tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills: Experience in warehouse operations. Proficiency in wire cutting and material handling. Ability to work at a fast pace and under minimal supervision. Capability to handle general labor tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience. Familiarity with landscaping, stocking, packing, palletizing, and forklift operations. Why Work Here? Work Environment: The work environment is a traditional warehouse setting with potential exposure to seasonal temperature changes. The job involves working on a fixed shift schedule, with breaks and a lunch period. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
