Full Time, Non-Exempt Job Summary
The Cabin Appearance Supervisor will lead, direct, and coordinate ground, line, and cabin service personnel to ensure the timely delivery of all services for contracted airlines. The role includes accountability for safety, operational standards, policy implementation, client relations, and financial performance in ramp operations. Job Responsibilities
Establish shift assignments for both full-time and part-time employees. Monitor and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all airline ground support equipment. Report discrepancies related to ground support equipment, both functional and mechanical. Coordinate with carriers to meet cargo and baggage service needs, ensuring on-time schedules. Maintain equipment safety and operational status. Coordinate activities with other departments and supervisors. Determine manpower requirements and ensure disciplinary procedures are fair and timely. Perform cosmetic arrangements of cabin elements such as seat belts and headrests. Prepare cabins for boarding and departure, including cleaning of seats, floors, galleys, and lavatories. Clean and service aircraft interiors, ensuring all areas are free of dirt, debris, and marks. Assist ramp agents after cabin cleaning. Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards. Work effectively under pressure within fixed time constraints. Ensure availability of ground equipment and supplies for upcoming flights. Interpret aircraft weight, balance instructions, and baggage routing tags. Follow all relevant federal, state, municipal, airport, and airline regulations. Brief crews before flights on their roles and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
At least 6 months experience with computers and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to operate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks. Proven supervisory experience in a business setting. Experience in operational planning and resource management. Knowledge of GSE maintenance issues. Understanding of commercial aviation issues. High School diploma or GED. Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to process information promptly. Valid Driver's License. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Previous ramp or airline experience preferred. Completion of all training and certification requirements. Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check. Physical Requirements
Must be physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods. Repetitive lifting of up to 70 pounds. Work outside in various weather conditions with exposure to loud noises. Work Schedule
Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. Extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations.
