Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. License/Certificates:
A valid California driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required due to field duties involving vehicle operation. Ability to obtain P.O.S.T. PC 832 certification within one year of appointment. Please Note:
The most qualified candidates, based on application materials, will be invited to continue in the process. A thorough background check, including fingerprinting, will be conducted. Convictions may not necessarily disqualify but will be evaluated based on relevance and circumstances. Disaster Service Worker:
In accordance with Government Code Section 3100, City of Newport Beach employees may be called upon to respond during a disaster.
