Quality Technician

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician with experience in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in quality assurance and metrology, particularly within the aerospace, medical device, or automotive industries. Responsibilities: Operate CMM machines to measure and inspect precision parts and components. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols. Create and modify CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MODUS. Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances. Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of measurements. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues. Perform first article inspections (FAI), PPAPs, and final part verifications. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance. Follow company quality procedures, safety policies, and ISO standards. Essential Skills: 2+ years of experience operating and programming CMMs in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar. Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret technical drawings. Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate's degree preferred. Familiarity with other inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment: This position operates on the 2nd shift, from 2 PM to 11 PM. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
