Job Title: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager Location: Pittsburgh, PA About the Role We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join the team. This role plays a key part in overseeing financial reporting, inventory management, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing industry experience , excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and streamline accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Manage the full month-end close process, including preparation and distribution of financial statements. Oversee all inventory accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation. Perform trend analysis and monthly reconciliations on inventory activity. Conduct and oversee physical inventory audits; reconcile and resolve discrepancies. Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure inventory and financial accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry (inventory expertise required). Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, reconciliations, and trend analysis. Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting software preferred. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work onsite and manage responsibilities independently.
