About the role You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through lead generation and outreach, conducting market research to gather insights on trends and competitors, and building & maintaining strong client relationships. You will work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to support targeted campaigns, provide detailed information on leads, ensure accurate CRM management, and contribute to sales forecasting. This role will combine research, analytical skills, and communication skills to drive business growth. What you will be doing? The role is part of the US New Business team. You will be targeted to grow our business through bringing in new customers. Converting inbound sales enquiries and prospecting for new leads. Understanding the issues our prospective customers face and tailoring solutions to solve them. Presenting our thought leadership to senior marketers and insight leaders to engage them in our products and services. You need to be this kind of person Excellent persuasion and selling skills – able to effectively communicate System1’s value proposition. Excellent negotiation skills to ensure the best contracts and prices are achieved. Thrive on networking and relationship building, enjoying meeting new people and building trust to generate leads and opportunities. Full of tenacity, persistence, and resilience. Well organised, able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Hands-on and helpful – responding fast to opportunities at the last minute. A true team player – playing well in position but passing well to others to ensure their success. Challenger mindset – ability to stand out among the industry establishment. You need to have the following experience: Experience of how to lead the sales process from prospecting to close. Proven sales track record of winning new customers. Experience of proposal and pitch preparation and execution. Industry and market knowledge – how our products can serve multiple client verticals. CRM knowledge (Hubspot or similar).
