Job Title: Loader/Unloader Material Handler (2nd Shift)
Location: Carson, CA
Hourly Rate: $19.20 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift - Starting at 3:00 PM
Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Loader/Unloader Material Handler to join our team in Carson, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials in a warehouse setting. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks with care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers. * Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse. * Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues. * Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, as needed. * Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to maintain a safe work environment. * Maintain organization of the warehouse and keep the area clean and clutter-free. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure safety. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
* Must have steel-toe boots as required for safety. * Previous experience in material handling, loading, or unloading is preferred but not required. * Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). * Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. * Reliable transportation to and from the workplace. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills.
