RECEPTIONIST
Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Acts as receptionist and telephone attendant relaying incoming and interoffice calls. Handles incoming and outgoing mail. First point of contact for customers in the clubhouse.
Part-Time (2-3 days a week including Saturdays)
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to multi-task High School Diploma, or equivalent, preferred. Good knowledge of English, spelling and punctuation, office practices and procedures. Good written clerical skills. Typing 40 wpm. Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors/customers in person or on the phone. Pleasant "telephone voice" and friendly demeanor. Courteous reception of visitors. Legible handwriting. Prompt and responsible forwarding of messages. Ability to follow through on work assignments. Must have a professional appearance; grooming and dress consistent with company guidelines. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests and answer telephone for the golf course courteously while determining their needs and directing them to the proper person or office. General Administrative duties as assigned. Receives, sorts, and posts all incoming mail from post office and courier services. May receive all outgoing mail for postage and delivery. Let Departments or assistants know when priority shipments arrive and when they arrive to the lobby area. Update marquee as needed Update phone list for the course when needed. Maintains organizational files and records. Arranges for meetings and conferences Assists other departments as requested or assigned. Performs related duties as required. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to sit at a desk for several hours at a time. Answer more than one phone line at once. Multi Task assignments given.

Business casual environment, work with others in a club house atmosphere.
